This is my take on the Coro fuse.
I crashed my dogfighter and needed a new fuse. The Coro fuse is made from 4 mm Coro, 24" long, cut to fit around American PVC (it's all I had at the time) and a 10" long taper to 1 1/4". I used two PVC formers, one for the fire wall to fit into and one right at the cutout at the tail.
I used Elmer's Probond Poly-U glue to glue it up. I like the poly-u glues because the working time is so much longer than that of CA. It gives me time to hold, straighten, and get it clamped before the glue sets up. The down side is is that it takes 24 hours for the glue to cure.
