Michael Grabois

Freelance Rocket Scientist for hire

"Non est ad astra mollis e terris via" - There is no easy way from the earth to the stars.

Rocket Man, Texas Longhorn, Parrothead, night owl, comic book fan, craps shooter, scuba diver, Springsteen groupie, world traveler, international scofflaw. I used to be able to fly and operate the Space Shuttle, but they went and retired it before I could go into space.

For 16 years I trained space shuttle astronauts for fun & profit, and for 7 years before that I worked in Mission Control. Now I’m looking to put these and my other skills (including cockpit display design, graphical user interface design, knowledge capture projects, and technical writing) to good use in the new commercial manned spaceflight industry.
