I have done very little in the theater. Mostly I go and enjoy watching plays, particularly musicals. But recently I have had a chance to be involved in two plays. The first was a production by the University of Michigan - Flint. They produced the play The Grapes of Wrath where I worked as the arms wrangler and general stage hand. I have several pictures of my work there.
The second was a play that I produced for the Knights of Columbus council 10170 at Holy Redeemer church in Burton, MI. We produced Godspell. This was a major undertaking and though I did little more than arrange details and supplies, it was a very rewarding experience. We produced this play to raise money for Bethany House. Bethany House is a retreat center being constructed by the Diocese of Lansing for the youth of our Diocese. The Knights of Columbus have taken on the obligation of raising the funds for its construction. I have pictures from an actual performance.
