Master Mark Seidel or "Master Mark" as his students affectionately refer to him is married and has two children. Both his wife and children are Black Belts.
Master Mark is known for his innovated methods of teaching children and adults, which includes, instructing Tae Kwon Do to music, anywhere from pop to classical and meditating to the sounds of the Rainforest or chanting monks. Master Mark finds ways to get through to students so that they truly get the benefit of Martial Arts, enhancing their "Mind, Body and Spirit", while still allowing them to have fun. He also believes that everyone that learns from him should be able to defend him or herself on the street, not just learn forms and break boards.
