I'm 46, married to Glenn and the mother of two sons. Until the fall of 1998 I worked at a bank in computer systems, though I've long realized that I missed my calling, and should have been a horticulturalist.. I've always loved to read mysteries, fantasy and science fiction.

I've been an Episcopalian since '76. Now that we've moved to Minnesota, I devote my time to the house, the kids, and spending waayyyyy too much money on the garden, in spite of family responsibilities and the fact that I'm running out of grass to rip up. I also sing in my church.

My favorite TV shows are Angel and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I started watching Buffy with the first show, hoping it would be at least mildly amusing. It turned out way beyond my expectations. In spite of the goofy name and the youthful target market, Buffy and its spinoff Angel (not Dark Angel, not, Not, NOT Touched by an Angel) have shown some of the finest character development, scripting, and long-term acting excellence I've ever seen on TV.
