Kalista Renee Nguyen June 20th 2009 Kalista was borned exactly on her due date on June 20th 2009. We arrived at Evergreen Hospital Medical Center in Kirkland, WA at 11:50 PM on Friday the 19th and Kalista made her grand appearance at 1:41 AM on Saturday the 20th. She was 7lbs 12oz and is 20.67 inches long. Kalista's delivery was very fast and with no complication during the delivery. However, becuase she was delivered so fast the Doctor was worried she might have Group B strep since Amanda has it and she had not finished her full bag of antibotic ivy yet. Becuase Amanda has Group B strep the Nurses had to monitor Kalista's temperature and listen to her lungs every 3-4 hours to be sure it's normal during her first 48 hours of life. On Monday the 22nd, she was cleared to go home and we checked out of the hospital at 11:30 AM. Kalista's name is of Greek origin and it means "The Most Beautiful"!!!
