Kiana was borned on November 13th 2006, one day earlier than her expected due date. Amanda's water broke at 2:30 AM Sunday the 12th and we checked in at Overlake Hospital at 3:30 AM. Approximately 16 hours later at 6:41 pm on Monday the 13th, Kiana was borned and she weighed in at 6.81 lbs (6 lbs & 13.2 oz) and measured at 19.25 inches long. It was a pretty roughed 16 hrs of labor for Amanda and Kiana. During the last four hours of labor the umbilical cord some how got tangle up and wrap around Kiana's neck so there was no oxygen delivered to Kiana. The Doctors were very worried that Kiana can't breathed so everytime her oxygen level would drop Amanda had to stop pushing. The process of pushing and stopping went on for a while until they were able to untangle Kiana from the cord for normal delivery.

Kiana's name is of Hawaiin origin and it means "Moon Goddess"!!!
