2002 - Present “Paintingman” This series is made of 22”X30” and similar panels
that can be arranged in any number and combination to suit the architectural
needs of site and installation design. They combine all my interest in concept,
sculpture, grids, composition and painterlyness. They reference my older work
dating back to college. They are on manufactured 1¼” canvas panels and are
painted with acrylic, oils, spray, glitter and anything else to create texture
and gesture.

1985-1995 This series took too long to finish eight paintings and I took it too
seriously.

Berggruen Gallery but burnt up in the Oakland fire.

1981 “Gray Surveyor” This series was painted the year after living in New

1979 “China Rider” This series was the last paintings that I did in
Houston while I was director of Texas Gallery Annex.

1978 “Masonite and Enamel” This series was the paintings that I did in Houston
where everyone did a series on masonite.
