We are relative newcomers to the Boston area having arrived late-1993/early-1994. We met while we were graduate students in the physics department at the University of Wisconsin - Madison.
Mike works for the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory (SAO) in Cambridge MA at the Chandra X-ray Observatory Center.
Jiahong transitioned from SAO to a small company, Speech Technology and
Applied Research, in Lexington MA, to co-founding a non-profit
organization - Women Entreprenuers in
Science and Technology (WEST) - from which she recently resigned as president and CEO. She is now running her own business
