Below are some of Carson's milestones and the wonderful memories we have had with him.  Click on the link to the left to view the photos.
Carson: 10 Months Old:  This month went by in the blink of an eye.  Carson is really starting to master sign language.  He is very good at letting mommy know when he wants "milk" and "more".  We had our first beach vacation with Carson this month as well.  The Belcher family spent a week at Topsail Island in North Carolina.  Carson absolutely loved the beach and the ocean.  He was intrigued by the waves and kept trying to decide which he liked more, playing in the sand or eating it.   After our vacation, Carson caught a virus which turned out to be Roseola, giving him high fever and a rash.  By the end of this month, Carson had decided it was time for him to learn how to crawl up the stairs and pull himself up on anything he could reach.  Boy, is he quick!

Carson: 11 Months Old:  On June 19th, Carson was dedicated at our church.  We had a small brunch with family and friends.  It was a beautiful day and Carson was surprised to have both Nana and Grandpa here for the celebration!  Uncle Eric and Kelly gave Carson a tree swing, which is now one of his favorite activities.   He also loves to go swimming at our pool.  He loves to kick and splash his arms in the water.  He also falls into the water on the count of  "3" and will even go under the water with mommy and daddy's help.  He is quite the FISH!  Carson is exploring the world around him.  He loves to play with his toys, read books, and open any cabinet that he can, to see what is inside.   As a result of all these adventures, he doesn't like taking naps quite as much.  He usually sleeps with a pacifier and "Tigger".  He especially likes Tigger's tail.  He rubs it gently on his face to fall asleep.  Lately, however, he throws both out of his crib, then yells "uuuh-oh!"  in an attempt to lure mommy or daddy into the room. He has started to dance and sing to music, and mimic our inflection of words.  He says a lot but is still trying to put all the sounds together.  His favorite things to say are, "one, two, three" as he is winding up to throw something down on to the hardwood floor, or "thank you" or "doggie."   Mommy's favorite thing this month, was getting a kiss from Carson.  The sweetest (wettest, sloppiest) kiss ever!

Carson: 12 Months Old:  On July 16th (3 days before his actual birthday), we had Carson's Big #1 Birthday Party - Old MacDonald Style.  Carson, the farmer was surrounded by his friends, pig, rooster, sheep, cow, and horse.   Each child had their own hat to wear.  We had burgers and hot dogs on the grill and a Big Cow Cake for dessert.  Carson, to say the least, LOVED his cake (as did Kobi).
Carson has started to drink milk and he loves it!  He points to things and says"dat", a true reflection of his mommy and daddy who constantly say, "what's that Carson?"  Toward the end of July, Carson began to walk with his "walker".  He stands behind and holds on as the wheels begin to move further and further away from his feet.  He is also beginning to stand for a few seconds all by himself.  He looks down at his feet with amazement, wobbles and falls.
On August 6th, Carson took his first airplane trip, travelling to Bethlehem, PA to see aunts, uncles and great nana.  He loved the plane and slept most of the way. He says "BA" for banana and ball and is signing "please" by patting both his hands on his chest.
