back to  2006

Below are some of Carson's milestones and the wonderful memories we have had with him.  Click on the link to the left to view the photos.

Carson: August 2006:   This month started off with a trip to the Alpharetta Firehouse.  Carson was so excited.  He got to meet a few firemen, sit inside the firetruck and touch a lot of the equipment.  As we were leaving, one of the firetrucks was called out and he got to hear the siren as they pulled out of the firehouse!

August 17 - 20th, Mommy and Carson went on a fun business trip with Daddy to Duck Key, FL (in the Keys).  It was for an event called True Experience.  There were a lot of bands playing poolside and even "band camps".  Carson loved the whole experience.  He had the opportunity to play a few instruments with John Thomas Griffith from Cowboy Mouth and Dan Dyer.  He also got to watch Dolphins swim, play on a pirate ship at a children's pool area, play putt-putt golf and go on his first tandem bike-ride with Daddy! We had an awesome time!
Carson: September 2006:  September was pretty quiet this  year.  Mommy and Daddy took Carson to go see Sesame Street Live.  Carson loved it and was dancing in his seat the entire time.  After the show, we saw about 8 police motorcycles parked near the arena.  Carson was invited to sit on one of the policeman's motorcycles and push the siren button.  Almost better than Sesame Street Live!  By the end of September, we started "intensive potty-training"....Carson was interested and ready.

Carson: October 2006:  Time to visit Burt's Pumpkin Farm again.  This year, Uncle Eric and Kelly went with us.  We went on a hay-ride, ate fresh pumpkin bread and picked out our Halloween Pumpkins.  For Halloween this year, Carson was a "Disco Kid".  Nana made him the coolest Disco outfit and he loved it!  He had a mini-disco ball and his own Disco music.  Trick-or-treating was much more fun this year and opened up the world of "eating candy" for the first time!  By the end of October, Carson was potty trained (but not fully poopy trained).  He is still wearing a diaper at night too!
Carson: November 2006:  November found us playing in the fall leaves a lot...raking them into piles, jumping in and rolling around.  We also went shopping for our Christmas tree and went to visit Santa.  Carson has been cutting a lot of new teeth too!  His mouth is almost all filled in with pretty pearly-whites!
This year, we spent Thanksgiving at home.  We missed being with the Belcher family on the farm, but are looking forward to a visit in January (hopefully with some snow!)
Mommy and Daddy find out that Carson is going to be a BIG BROTHER.....Carson won't know for a few more months.
Carson: December 2006:  Carson continues to amaze Mommy and Daddy with his vocabulary and his crafty ways.  Carson is completely out of diapers!  He still has some accidents here and there, but he really wants to be a BIG BOY!
Carson helped to make Christmas cookies and treats for friends this year.  We really enjoyed our time together Christmas morning too!  Santa brought Carson a train table with a lot of trains!  Before the 1st of January, we spent a little time in Tallahassee to celebrate Christmas with more family!
