The votes are in! The dying is over (for this year anyway) and the winners have been chosen (by God). The upstart 'DOWN-UNDERS' walk away with 1st place (and $98.00) with their bonus round pick DeForest Kelley... worth a whopping 42 points!
2nd Place (and $28.00) goes to 'THE DEAD MEN WALKING' and their 37 point pick King Hussein.

These are the Rules for The Dead Pool Halloween '98 - Halloween '99.:

1) You will pick 15 people in the public eye who you think will be ‘called home' this year.
2) They will be picked in draft mode in 15 rounds (like fantasy football)
3) Entry fee is $20 (in monopoly money)
4) Money will be distributed Halloween ‘99 as follows, 1st place 70%, 2nd place 20%, and third place 10%.
5) Scores will be tallied on a 100 point system, if one of your players ‘kicks' subtract his/her age at death from 100 and those are your points!
6) Death row inmates are ineligible candidates.
7) People who are in the public eye only because they are sickly (leukemia boy or such) are ineligible.
8) You may not kill any of your players (the Brett clause).
9) When a spot on your roster is ‘vacated' you do not get to add a replacement player.
10) Next Halloween you may deem three of your ‘still kicking' roster as ‘franchise players' and keep them, the rest go back in the draft.
11) BONUS ROUND! Round 14 is a bonus round... point values are doubled for players picked in this round.
