The Luggage Gargoyle.

DIA has public art with meaning. As many travelers know, evil spirits do things to luggage; they cause airlines and baggage handlers to abuse and even loose luggage This gargoyle is supposed to keep those evil spirits away. Given the problems with DIA's baggage handling system in the early days, one wonders how effective he is.

Photo was color adjusted and some Photoshop effects were used to accentuate and contrast sculpture edges and add to the ghoulish theme.
