North American Versatile Hunting Dog Association
(NAVHDA)

                                                           Mid-South Chapter

April 16 & 17, 2011

The Mid-South Chapter of NAVHDA will conduct a Natural Ability Test on Saturday, April 16 and Sunday, April 17 2011 at Norm & Carol's Hawk Hollow Farm is in Pelham, TN which is off of I-24 between Nashville and Chattanooga.  A map with motel & camping information will be sent with a confirmation letter.

Eligibility

All recognized pointing hunting breeds are eligible for NAVHDA tests as long as the dog is purebred and registered with the NAVHDA registry. All Dogs entered must be registered with NAVHDA if not already done so. Single Registration papers can be down loaded off the International Web page. If you do not have a 3-generation pedigree, please contact the International Office of NAVHDA.

Dogs are eligible for Natural Ability testing up to and including the day they reach 16 months of age. Dogs over 16 months may be run for evaluation only and may only be run if space is available. No classification can be awarded a dog run for evaluation regardless of the score attained.

Entries

Test entries are limited and will be taken on a first come, first served basis, subject to the rules of eligibility stated above. A test entry consists of the Official Current Year Test Entry Form and the correct test entry fee.  PLEASE PRINT legibly and USE PEN or Type. All information must be included or your entry will be returned. Non-NAVHDA members can request a copy of the test rules upon receipt of a completed test entry and for an additional fee.  Test rules and the entry form may be found at www.navhda.org. If the dog is hip tested, a copy of the document should be attached to the Official Test Entry application to have it recorded.

Refunds

Entries withdrawn or cancelled by March 19, 2011 will receive all but $25.00 of the entry fee. After March 19, 2011 no refunds will be made. If your dog is unable to complete the test because of death or medical condition a written certificate from your veterinarian must be provided for a full refund to be made.

Entry Confirmation

A confirmation letter will be sent. We will try to place you on your preferred running day. The exact date and starting time will be sent by April 9, 2011. If upon receiving your entry our test is full, you will be contacted immediately and your name will be placed on the waiting list. If you do not get into the test a full refund will be sent.
