PLEASE READ EACH ITEM CAREFULLY.
- Unlike the Qualifying Tournament registration, there is no registration required for the State Tournament. Your qualifying tournament host will tell us which teams advanced. So, just show up on December 10! The teams who advanced will be posted on the State Tournament Information age and on the Tournament List page.
- Mentor Award. If you would like us to consider one of your team's mentors for this award, please submit a one page, single-sided nomination at registration.
- Please bring your mats and challenge set pieces if at all possible.
- Project Presentations are expected to be done in five (5) minutes maximum. We will only provide power in the rooms (no projectors, overheads, screens, computers, etc.).
- Please make sure to fill out and bring three (3) copies of the Team Introduction Page.
- Pit areas will be approximately 8 ft by 8 ft.
- Each team will get one 6 foot by 2.5 foot folding table to work on in their pit area. Bring an extension cord and a strip plug for your pit area. You'll need this to connect to the main power supplies.
- Teams are REQUIRED to bring a "garage" to cover their robot during program downloads. An empty box will do. Failure to do so may cause you to inadvertently download your program into other nearby robots.
- The concession stand at the Rock Financial Showplace will be open during the event between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm.
- There will be a separate "picnic" area where teams can sit, store coolers, etc. Coolers and outside food are permitted.
- This is a public event. Local media may be present. Students may be photographed, videotaped or interviewed. Because of this, each student and adult is required to submit "Consent Form". If you already submitted one to your qualifying tournament host, it is not necessary to turn another one in at the State Tournament.
Teams may bring "team banners". Teams wishing to hang their banners with tape should use tape we'll provide, available at the registration tableUpdated 11/29/05. Taping of signs or banners to any wall is not allowed (sorry!).- Don't forget to bring extra batteries.
- Check out our "Checklist" page for other items.
