How to Motivate Kids to Read
Not your average magic show!
Every school assembly program that Mike Rose presents for children is a reading program, every single one. But that's just the beginning! During the "The Magic of a Book" students will be taught how reading can change their lives. While attending the "Amazing Road Trip" they'll learn about U.S. Geography. At the "Un-BUG-lievable" show they'll see the science of insects (the largest animal group on Earth!) come to life. And during the "Secrets of Nutrition" students will learn about nutrition and health topics. However, the children will also be encouraged to read more about the topic and related subjects while also being challenged with new vocabulary words throughout EACH program. This multi-layering of material is why Mike's programs are so educationally significant. Mike has the know-how and the experience to make a program for your school a fun and unique learning experience. And don't forget the parents! Mike's assembly programs are also a great way to involve parents. They can be invited to act as participants during the special "in school field trip."
