Note that many puzzles that come in a Square box are actually Rectangular in shape. The puzzle dimensions are usually printed on the puzzle box.
With a few exceptions, each Thumbnail is taken from the puzzle corner with the most interesting cut.
Every Square puzzle is about 20-1/4" square
(except for SQ50 Equivocation II which is about 18" square).
Confirmed Square piece counts: 465, 469, 470, 501, 508, 509
(and 360 or 361 for SQ50 Equivocation II).

Fused Cut Variations

A fused piece occurs when a small piece of a puzzle die breaks.
Each of these cuts is identical to its corresponding Basic Cut above, except for 1 or more fused pieces.

DS360XP

Backing: Green (1965)

Size: 18" x 18"

This cut variation is unique in that it has 1 MORE piece than the original.

This cut matches DS360 exactly, except for some die rework in one of the corners (resulting in 1 MORE piece).

Note DS360 has round corners, while DS360XP has square corners.

This cut matches DS509M, except for 2 pieces that are fused into 1.

Note the width difference in the adjacent piece, suggesting a repair was attempted on the die, but that it partially broke.

DS465 Corners

This cut is sometimes seen with squared corners, and sometimes with rounded corners. The cuts are otherwise identical, and the pieces are interchangeable.
