Q. Where's the best place to find the early Springbok puzzles?
A. The easiest place is on eBay (www.ebay.com). On any given day, a search for "springbok" in the puzzles category will yield hundreds of hits.

The cheapest place is at a garage sale, estate sale, thrift shop, or a relative's closet.

Q. Where's the best place to sell my Springbok collection?
A. An excellent place is on eBay (www.ebay.com). You'll usually get a much better price than at a garage sale or estate sale.

If you're uncomfortable with eBay's online auction format, I'd be happy to make you an offer. If I'm not interested, I'll put you in contact with other collectors that will likely be interested. Click here to email me (mike_helland@hotmail.com).

Q. How many pieces should puzzle "x" have?
A. For most Springbok puzzles, there is more than one correct answer. The number of pieces depends on the die cut. For more information, see Springbok Die Cuts 1963-1973 and Die Cut Project.

Q. When will the next National Jigsaw Puzzle Championship be held?
A. The competition hasn't been held since 1990. There is plenty of interest among puzzlers - all that is needed is a corporate sponsor. If I hear of a new competition, I'll announce it on this site's home page.

Q. Are Springbok puzzles still being manufactured?
A. Yes. Allied Products, Inc of Kansas City, MO purchased the Springbok line from Hallmark in 2002. Click here to visit Allied's Springbok web site.

Q. What are the 3 digits that sometimes come before a puzzle's serial number?
A. The original retail price. For example, "125 PZL9001" originally sold for $1.25, and "350 PZL8001" originally sold for $3.50.
