1984 Doubles Semifinals

Here's a photo postcard that was available at the 1985 competition. It depicts a small portion of the 1984 Doubles Semifinals.

As with the Singles Semifinals, imagine the scene expanded to 360 puzzlers, and you'll have a good idea of what things looked like.

1984 Doubles Finals

Here's a photo of the 1984 Doubles Finals. Pictured are Lori Reeves and Lisa Heiser (who are sisters). Lori and Lisa won the Doubles Championship in 1982, 1983, 1984, and 1985.

1984 Sprints

Three puzzlers await the start of the next round of the 1984 Sprints Competition (mini-puzzles). Seated, left to right, are Joellen Beifuss, Pam Martin, and Mike Helland.

Joellen won the Singles Championship in 1983, 1984, and 1985. Joellen and Pam teamed up to win the Doubles Championship in 1986, 1987, and 1990.

"Z" You Around (Box Bottom)

After winning the 1986 Singles Championship, Donna Klett was pictured on the box bottom of the retail version of the championship puzzle ("Z" You Around). Donna won the Singles Championship in 1986, 1987, and 1990.

Un-Spot-Able (Box Bottom)

After winning the 1986 Doubles Championship, Pamela Pietz Kerstetter and Joellen Beiffus were pictured on the box bottom of the retail version of the championship puzzle (Un-Spot-Able). Joellen won the Singles Championship in 1983, 1984, and 1985. Joellen and Pam teamed up to win the Doubles Championship in 1986, 1987, and 1990.
