Waddington Lithographs
[ Home ]

Waddington Puzzles helped Springbok Editions get started in the puzzle business (John Waddington Ltd of Leeds, England). In the early years, there was close cooperation and sharing of knowledge. This included the reproduction of a number of each other's lithographs.

Additional Waddington puzzles with common lithographs probably exist. If you own (or know of) any, it would be a treat to hear from you! I'll add the information to the web site, and if you wish, list you as a Contributor (if you'd prefer to remain anonymous, that's fine too). All Contributors are Welcome!

Here is a sample thumbnail of a Waddington Circular Die Cut.

Waddington and Springbok circular puzzles are comparable in style, dimension, and piece count. Although similar, the die cuts and piece shapes are definitely different.

Waddington pieces are typically thinner, not cut as crisply, and do not fit together as snugly or pleasingly as a Springbok.
