After two days of howling wind and blinding snow I took a peek out my front door. The snow was three feet deep on the stoop and getting out was going to be interesting. Fortunately I put the snow shovel next to the door before the storm got really bad.

Where did my garage go?

Even if I shovel out all the snow, I'm not going anywhere.

My poor pine tree was bent over so far that its trunk was damaged. The locust was pretty droopy, but it survived. The cornices were really impressive... I hope they don't let go when I'm standing under them! I can't believe that there is so much snow in the driveway... I shoveled it twice already and now there is at least two more feet of snow.

The only vehicle capable of making it through this would be a monster truck. Lacking one, I took a walk around the neighborhood. The snow is nearly three feet deep and many of the cars along the street have almost disappeared.

That's a cornice!
