Here are some more picture's of the tear down of the 1949 John Deere Styled G.

In the photos below are some of the cracks I found in the block and head and also one of the brake shafts was bad.

I have George Miller in MD fixing the head, and block he does really good work, and amazing repair's. Here's George Miller's Web site address below.

Here is the crack repair that George Miller in MD, did on the F550R John Deere G block. In the above photos you can see the crack in between the cylinders. In the photos below is the repaired John Deere G block. The crack was pinned for this repair work.

Here is the crack in the F551R head in the below photos that George Miller in MD, is going to repair also for me. The crack is in the stud hole were the manifold bolts on. It should be a easy fix for him. George does amazing repairs.

Here is one of the brake shafts that George Miller repaired for me. He doe's the impossible possible. The brake shaft on the left was the before, and the one on the right is the after. The area that is circled in yellow was under cut and sprayed with stainless steel powder and turned down to the factory size.
