Egilibility for Membership

The Jamestowne Society is composed of descendants of the early settlers on James Island, c1607-1700. Incorpoarted in 1958 the Society has 32 companies in 21 states with a membership of over 6000. Eligibility for membership is established by documenting a line-of-descent from one of the Qualifying Ancestors. A list of Qualifying Ancestors, along with other requirements for membership, can be found at the Jamestowne Society website. You may also contact a Company in your area.
