We currently own 4 Alaskan Klee Kai.  A picture of each dog as well as their pedigree is provided below.

Kali was our first AKK puppy from Eileen Gregory in Peyton, CO.  She came to us at 8 weeks old on October 1st, 1998.  Lisa flew down to Colorado Springs to pick her up and fly her back in the passenger cabin. AKK puppies are small enough to fly in a cabin kennel under your seat. She was the center of attention for many passengers and crew members.  Kali is minnAKKota Kennel's first UKC Champion.  She earned her CH title at UKC's Premier Show in Kalamazoo, MI in June of 2000.  We are also proud to say that she took Champion of Champions in her first showing in the Champion ring - also at the 2000 UKC Premier Show.

Sierra was obtained from Jim and Billie Henderson in Hugo, CO.  She came to us at 8 weeks old as well, in October of 1999.  Another flight to CO and we had our second AKK female.  It didn't take long before Sierra established herself as lead dog.  In the mornings, she loves to crawl up on your chest and snuggle before she starts her day.  A complete lover to her family she is also queen watchdog in the yard.  No strangers get passed Sierra without us knowing about it.

We are sad to report that Nikota passed away this year on Feb 18th 2009.  We know he waits for us at the rainbow bridge with all his kisses & his tail wagging!!

We got Nikota in March 2000 when he was 8 months old from Jim and Billie Henderson.  We prefer not to ship our dogs and since Nikota was too big to fly in the passenger cabin, we drove to CO to get him.  The trip home helped him bond to us as well as Sierra and Kali.  Didn't take long before he knew he had it made!  We could have named him Zorro because he has a bandit mask and is a little lover, stealing kisses whenever he can.  He licks ALL the time.

Simi is the daughter of our first AKK, Kali. She is the first blue eyed pup to be born to us.  She is a lot like her dad, Nikota & likes to give kisses. She thinks she's a cat and her favorite place to rest is on the top of the couch wrapped around your neck.

Indi is from Kenny Compton and Shalimar Acres.  She is a spunky black & white blue eyed female that is very friendly with strangers which is a very desirable trait with the AKK.  Indi has attended obedience school with Todd & loves to run & play.
