 Junior Division Top 25 Teams

The Executive Committee of the Junior Division is excited to announce the first run of the Junior Division Top 25 teams. Best wishes to all teams as everyone works to reach their potential and make a Championship run!

1. Courage Jr. Rolling Timberwolves- Kenyon and Downes are back, possible back to back?
2. San Diego Hammer - Everyone is back and this could be the year.
3. Turnstone Flyers- Arambula gone, can Kilworth and Swoverland make a run? 
4. Wheelin Wizards - A nice fourth place finish, but can they improve on this?
5. Milwaukee Heat- Savoy gone but Ryan is back.
6. Seattle Jr. Sonics- Great run last year, but it will be tough to duplicate.
7. Rancho Renegades- Looking to crack the final four for first time in a long time.
8. New Jersey Jr. Nets - Will they be the Beast in the East?
9. Bennett Blazers- Can they keep their top ten run alive?
10. Minnesota Royals - Can they crack the top eight this year?
11. Sterling Heights Challengers- Can D.J. lead them to another level?
12. Borp Bay Cruisers- Booth is gone can Tim replace those points?
13. St. Louis Jr. Rolling Rams- Can they make a move up the rankings this year?
14. Lakeshore Sharks- They always make it to the big dance.
15. Dallas Jr. Mavericks - Young and aggressive.
16. Katie's Komets - They are not afraid to play with the big boys.
17. Nebraska Red Dawgs - 2008 J.V. Champs, can they make their mark at the varsity level?
18. Charlotte Rollin' Bobcats- Kiley's team is ready for the next level, so you better be ready for them!
19. Denver Jr. Rolling Nuggets- Young and fast.
20. Grand Rapids Jr. Pacers - Coach Lee will not settle for 20th this year.
21. Windy City Warriors- They are not afraid to play anyone and they will do some damage this year.
22. Mad City Badgers- Small but tenacious.
23. TIRR Hotwheels- One of the best in the south.
24. Oklahoma Blaze- They will give you forty minutes every game.
25. Michigan Jr. Thunderbirds - They may be the best in the Midwest?

Junior Division End 2007-2008 of Season Top 25

 Congratulations to the Minnesota Jr. Timberwolves for winning the Varsity Division Championships in Seattle.

 Tami English and her team of 'hosts' did an outstanding job with the event, setting the bar even higher as all of the Junior Division National Tournaments will come together in Colorado next year! Congratulations are also in line to the Nebraska program for taking both the JV and prep National Championships! Here is the End of Year Top 25 for the Junior Division. Congratulations to all of the teams for their awesome season, and look out as we watch younger programs like Charlotte, Windy City, Sterling Heights and Grand Rapids continue to move up the competitive ladder!

Junior Division Top 25

The Executive Committee of the Junior Division would like to congratulate the winners of our first three Regional Tournaments. The MN Jr. Timberwolves took top honors at the Minnesota Regional and the Wisconsin Regional, with the Turnstone Flyers taking second at both of these Regionals. The MN Royals took the top spot at the Mid-South Regional, topping the St. Louis Jr. Rollin' Rams. Congratulations also to the San Diego Hammer and Milwaukee Heat for taking home bids to the 2008 NJWBT.

 

Here is the Junior Division Top 25 coming into the final two Regional Events. 

 

1. Minnesota Timberwolves - Is this their year?

2. Turnstone - Coming together nicely for end of year run

3. San Diego - Top team in the West

4. Milwaukee Heat - enough guns to keep moving up?

5. Bennett Blazers - fast, quick and working hard

6. BORP - Always a factor

7. Milwaukee Wizards - Working on a late season push to the top

8. Rancho - Always consistent and well coached

9. New Jersey - Young team moving slowly to the top

10. Minnesota Royals - Dominant in the Mid-West

11. St. Louis Rams - will surprise some

12. Michigan Thunderbirds - learning quickly against top teams

13. Sterling Heights - Always tough and always getting better

14. Dallas - Youngsters looking to prove themselves

15. Seattle - Unknown from the West - rumors have them tough

16. Grand Rapids - Perennial in the 10' ranks

17. Katies - well respected and always play hard

18. Nebraska - Talented group trying to find their spot

19. Georgia Eagles - Newbies did well in Wisconsin

20. Mad City - Continue to be a factor in 10' divisions

21. Windy City - Representing Chicago area well in 10' play

22. Peoria - hard working group with plenty of talent

23. Charlotte - watch out for these guys - they can surprise

24. Oklahoma - can be a factor if shots fall

25. St. Lukes - Strong program from West Coast

 

All Coaches and Team Reps need to remember to keep sending in scores so that the E.C. can continue to adjust the top 25 and tournament seeds. Also, the E.C. would like to congratulate Matt Scott for his representation of our sport on the National screen! We are all proud of him!
