The artist, I. Viuev, has devoted himself to the revival of Aleutian national art, its technique, style, and striking spirituality in depicting the nature and life of the inhabitants of the Beringia.
Most of the artist's work is displayed in the Museum of Regional Studies of the Commander Islands.

We have several wonderful and original works of art by fine Russian painters available for sale. Proceeds go to support the association in its continuing work to preserve the Commander Islands for future generations.
