Timothy Scott Misner presented his multimedia slideshow Sketches from the Oregon Trail - A Composer's Journey
at the National Historic Oregon Trail Interpretive Center's "Oregon Trail Music Festival" on July
11th and 12th in Baker City, Oregon.
The slideshow consisted of the orchestral suite Sketches from the Oregon Trail accompanied by award-winning author and photographer Bill Moeller's beautiful Oregon Trail photographs. |

Much of Corvallis came out for the film premiere of this entertaining documentary about Corvallis, Oregon...the "sweet little town we love."
Two years in the making, the epic feature film STORIES & LEGENDS from the Heart of the Valley was created by Corvallis residents
and award winning film makers Morris and Lynn Walker (microEPIC/Earthwalker Entertainment). Timothy Scott Misner, musical director for the
production, created multiple arrangements of the Earthwalker's folksy theme song, including a clocktower bells arrangement! Listen to the

The Willamette Valley Community Orchestra , under the direction of Dr. Sean Paul Mills,
premiered Timothy Scott Misner's orchestral suite "Sketches from the Oregon Trail" on November 8th and 9th, 2008 in Albany and Corvallis, Oregon, as part of
a "Made in America" program featuring works of Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers & Oscar Hammerstein II, Elmer Bernstein, and Calvin Custer.
"Sketches from the Oregon Trail" portrays in music the westward pioneers' journey over 2,000 miles of endless prairie, highland deserts and rugged mountain ranges in order to reach their promised land, OREGON!
