Don't forget that we have a field trip scheduled for Friday, April 20 to go to Cecil Community College. Students need to have bag lunches, since they won't be able to buy.

Math Test

There will be a Math test on concepts studied in Unit 8 this Wednesday, April 4. Your child will receive a study guide on Monday, which we will check in class on Tuesday. Please be sure to help them study. A fantastic resource is the Mathematics section of the 5th grade homepage. There are multiple games under Unit 8.

Puppet Show

Today, the 5th graders will be performing puppet shows for the other classes in the school in order to finish their study of plays. They have created the set, as well as the puppets, and they are really looking forward to sharing their production. Be sure to ask them how it went!

MSA Week

This week, we will be taking the MSA in both Reading and Math. The Math portion will take place Monday and Tuesday morning, and Reading will be Thursday and Friday morning. Throughout the week the students will have various privileges and treats to reward their hard work!
