We will sit down with you to discuss layout, design, and direction. Your input at this phase is at it's most important. It's also at this point that we can work up a price to fit your budget. Mohair Web Designs wants to work with you to assure that your finished site reflects your vision - yet doesn't break your bank.

Site Design and Development :

Mohair Web Designs still makes pages the old fashioned way - we hand-craft them. With your text (provided to us on a 3 1/2 " floppy - MS Word or .txt format), we will lay down the backbone of your site. It's around this framework that we can begin to add the visual and interactive aspects.

Images :

These can be provided by you to be scanned and edited by us, or customed designed by us for a modest fee. These images will typically be in the GIF or JPEG graphic formats.

Links :

Hyper-text links allow your visitors to navagate between the pages of your site, hook up with other Websites, or automatically connect them to your e-mail address (or addresses). Links are a standard tool that can be used in any Website.

Site Upload :

Using specialized software called an FTP client, we transfer the files that comprise your site to the server that will host your site. This will typically be a computer at your ISP, who will in turn charge you a monthly fee for hosting the site.

"Coming Soon" Page .... $10

While your site is being constructed, we are able to put up a custom-designed page to annouce the impending arrival of your new Website.

Hit Counter .... $10

This will let you see how many people are visiting your site. We use counters from Digits.com , an online counter service.

Guestbook .... $15

This is a type of form your visitors can fill out with comments, questions, etc. Guestbooks can lend an element of interactivity to your site.

Image Maps .... $15

These are any graphics or photos that are divided into "zones", each one then operating as a hyper-text link to other pages, other Websites, etc.

JavaScript Applets .... $25 per applet

These applets can perform a variety of interactive functions - such as displaying the date, "pop-up" windows displaying information or other Websites (these were demonstrated eariler, displaying info about HTML and Site Hosting), image "slide shows", etc. This can add to the usefulness of your site.

Site Maintenance .... $25 per hour

From time to time, you may need to update facts and figures, change graphics, or otherwise make additions and/or subtractions to your site. Mohair Web Designs can do this maintenance to help you keep your site fresh and up to date - just e-mail us with the details and we'll do the rest.

Site Makeover .... $35 per page

If you're unhappy with your existing Website, let Mohair Web Designs re-design it for you !!! We'll take your present site files, your fresh ideas, and rework the details - breathing new life into your old site.

Web Design Consulting .... $35 per hour

Mohair Web Designs can take part in the design of your site in a outside consulting role. You can make Mohair part of your company's Website design team.
