HO ScaleHeritage Steam 0-6-0Soundtraxx Tsunami in tender of 0-6-0 with 20x30mm speaker, changed the headlight the warm white LED.
2-8-4Soundtraxx Tsunami with 30x40mm speaker.
Here's how the tender was wired from the factory.
Modified with Tsunami wired to to connector board.
Proto 1000F3Northcoast D102US installed in a F3A. I did not use the factory lighting circuit, I wired a LED and resistor directly to the decoder.
Soundtraxx DSD installed in a F3B. I used a hacksaw to cut the frame where the cab would be in an A unit. I cut it to just above the worm housing, removing less than a half ounce of metal. I then made a ABS box around a 1.1 x 1.6 speaker using hot glue. I removed the factory PCB and put the decoder in that space. The rest of the ABBA set have NCE D102US decoders. The ST unit runs slower at a given throttle setting than the NCE units so I guess the PWM differs significantly between the two, I enable one of the a speed curves in the ST unit, and adjusted the trim CV.
Proto 2000E8Soundtraxx DSD-101LC with 28mm speaker.
GP7Northcoast D102US.
Soundtraxx DSD-LL110LC with 25x14mm speaker in the cab.
GP20Soundtraxx DSD-090LC with 35x16mm speaker under radiator fans.
Soundtraxx DSD-101LC with 35x16mm speaker under radiator fans.
GP38-2Digitrax DH163L0. For lighting, I have a golden white LED for headlight and rear light, 2 SMT yellow LEDs for the front number board lights, and bright yellow LED for rear number boards.
GP60Digitrax DH163LO. For lighting, I have a golden white LED for headlight and rear light, 2 SMT yellow LEDs for the front number board lights. I use aluminum duct tape to block light from getting where I don't want it.
Digitrax DH165LO and SFX004 Sound Bug with 18x35mm speaker, SMT LEDs for front number boards.
PA/PBDigitrax DG380 installed in PA.
Digitrax DH142 installed in PA.
Soundtraxx DSX installed in PB.
SD60NCE P2K-SR
Buler motor from an Athearn Genesis SD75M installed SD60, using A-line flywheels and the factory P2k universal parts.
Now with Digitrax DH163L0 and cut down factory weights.
Run fine now with Atlas and Kato locomotives. |
