Greetings from the North Family - 23 March 2008
Return to this week's news

Joanne and Maren at tea at the Empress Hotel in Victoria, Canada.

In front of Parlaiment in Victoria.

Climbing on the troll statue.

A Canadian totem pole (with Joanne).

Joanne in front of a wave sculpture in Seattle.

Checking out the fish at Pike Place Market.

Riding the pig.

In spite of relatively cold weather (and snow on Easter), the girls had a picnic in the front yard.

Madeline couldn't stop talking about coloring Easter eggs. She drove us nuts until we finally did it.

Emily was very proud of her green egg.

We had an Easter dinner and egg hunt with a couple of other families in our ward.

Jenni and Ed came to visit from D.C. for Easter weekend. This is their youngest son Asher, cruising on his bike in the driveway.

Asher and Noe brought some new sidewalk chalk, which all the kids enjoyed.

Joanne brought some gummy centipedes home from Seattle. This is the momma bird feeding the baby birds.

What happened this week...?

Joanne got back from Seattle on Wednesday, we were glad to have her home. On Thursday, Jenni and Ed came from D.C. for a visit. We had lots of fun with them. We had an Easter egg hunt with our three girls and their two boys. They headed home after church today. Joanne and I each did some visiting in the ward, and we had Easter dinner with two couples from the ward. It was an enjoyable Easter.

Best wishes to all,

Matt, Joanne, Jessica, Emily & Madeline
