Joanne made some peanut butter bars for an event at the church. We made sure to sample them and make sure they were good before subjecting our friends to them.
What happened this week...?
Spring soccer started this week. I got roped into being Jessica's head coach. I'm really awesome coaching 8 year olds. Actually I'm not. But we try to have fun. Emily is playing too. Madeline will be old enough in the fall. We had Stake Conference today. Yesterday I had an interview with William Walker and Robert Smith, both general authorities of the church. They interviewed 34 people from the stake to select our new stake president. I was third to the last. I took two steps into the room and they asked "How old are you?" I told them I am 35. I knew right away I wasn't going to make their short list for Stake President, so the rest of the very brief interview was pretty relaxed. I don't know any of the members of the new stake presidency, but I'm sure I'll get to know them. All else is going well, and we're glad that Spring is here.
