What happened this week...? I had to break down and mow my lawn this week. It is very green and thick. I let it get too long, and it took me a long time to mow. It has rained on and off, and it's almost ready to be mowed again. We had ward conference this week. The new stake president and his second counselor came. Although it wasn't perfect, I thought it went OK for my first time. I'm getting better and some of the parts of my calling. Joanne and the girls are very supportive. On Saturday, the girls had soccer games and a birthday party while Joanne went on the stake temple trip to Washington D.C. It was a long day for her (and everyone) -- there were 140 women who went -- but they had a good experience. We are looking forward to Emily's birthday next week. Best wishes to all, Matt, Joanne, Jessica, Emily & Madeline |
