Emily got a gift card for her birthday, and this week cashed it in on a snorkel kit (spongebob style). She's stoked for our trip to Hawaii in December.

What happened this week...?
Joanne traveled to Utah for Oma's funeral, while I stayed in Pennsylvania with the girls. We had fun, and got by OK, though not as well as we get by when mommy is around. At church on Sunday, Emily was crying, and one of the primary workers asked her why. She said it was because her mommy wasn't with us on Mother's Day. She got over it though, she's tough. We were able to talk on the phone though, and Joanne told us that the funeral was very nice.
