It had to wait a little bit, until Joanne got home, but her Mother's Day gift (a red Roomba robotic vaccuum) was waiting to do her bidding. |
Joanne became the proud owner of Oma's vintage typewriter. I was very excited for us to have it. Joanne got it out for the girls to try old school typing. They liked playing on the "typewriter printer". |

What happened this week...? We were glad to have Joanne home from Utah this week. I finished giving my finals, got my grades in (on time actually), and attended graduation. This year was more personal for me, since many of my Brazil students graduated, and this was the class that were freshmen when I started my first full year at W&J. We lost two good babysitters to graduation: Joan Downing and Lisa McLaughlin. Joan was also the token LDS student at W&J, so we're back to zero on that front now, which is unfortunate. Despite mixed feelings, it was good to see many of my students finishing up successfully and heading off to new jobs in new locations. Best wishes to all, Matt, Joanne, Jessica, Emily & Madeline |
