I began my Tang Soo Do training under Sabom Nim Vernon Medeiros, in early 1995. Sabom Nim Medeiros is the Head Instructor for The Center for Aikido and Tang Soo Do Studies satellite school, located in Hagerstown, MD. Prior to that, I had been involved, formally and informally, with the martial art of Tae Kwon Do (Chung Do Kwan/Song Moo Kwan) since 1983. My instructor started his training in 1979 with Master Jong H. Lee, who founded the Institute of Tangsoology® in 1975. I currently hold the rank of Sah-Dan (4th degree, Midnight Blue Belt) and am the instructor for the satellite school called The Center for Aikido and Tang Soo Do Studies under Sabom Nim Medeiros.
