We're a MD - DC-based studio for no-fuss advertising, commercial and editorial photography.
Marty spent years shooting assignments for Time, Newsweek, the NYTimes and the like.
He learned to get to, charm and document people all over the US and overseas--and then to
file pictures on deadline by cellphone, satphone, bus driver, conductor or the last-closing Fedex.
These days, he's usually producing shoots that take more planning, and very-high-resolution
images get sent by file transfer, but the principle is the same--editors and art directors
still depend on expert access, execution and deadline delivery.
Marty's latest focus is using
new very-low-light digital cameras to catch
the emotions of tango in
dim late-night dances all over for a book project.
