There is a new creature in my ponyland. I discovered her in my garden one day. A shy little flutter pony with the delicate wings of a butterfly. For rare sightings of this beautiful creature see below:
Here the Monarch landed near my day lily. I managed to get a close shot of her there.

She seems to like my Buddha statue:

Right before she flew off into the sunset she stood still for this last pose:

And then she was gone.

Thanks to everyone who voted for her!
I started with a Yum Yum flutter in the same condition as this Morning Glory.
Details on her creation:
I removed her symbols, painted her black and added white dots. I used this photo of a monarch butterfly as a guide.
I painted her irises orange. It was hard getting that little bit of hair out. But I replaced it with black hair. I added orange glass beads on wire to the mane and tail. I glued some fake feather butterfly wings onto her wing tabs and then gave her little antennae with wire and painted them black.
The most time consuming and difficult of all my customs I think but one that I am probably most proud of! I plan to remake that Morning Glory into a dragonfly.
Hope you like her!
