The staff of Sunset Mental Health Services has worked long and hard to create effective, cost saving and culturally competent programs that work and save the City money!
Sunset MHS should remain open and in place!

The main motivation of this contingency plan is NOT TO MERGE SERVICES but to ELIMINATE SERVICES!  The proposal to shut down Sunset is purely driven by the City’s ill-conceived, shortsighted plan to sell the land in order to reduce the budget deficit! Selling the building is a onetime fix that limits options if space is ever needed for future programming.
