It is my desire to give a brief history of my family as I know it. I guess the place to start is with my great-great-great-great-great-great-great grandfather who came to these shores around 1694. His name was John Mallet and he was a French Huguenot. For those of you who do not know what being a Huguenot means: They were french citizens who rejected the Roman Catholic doctrine. They believed the Word of God unto salvation. I am reminded of the scripture in John 15:20 where it says "Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; ...". That's exactly what happened in France at that time. Christians had to flee France because of persecution. Hence, that is why my ancestors left France for North America.
A lot has happened in the past three hundred plus years in the Mallett family. There are literally thousands of descendents of John and Joanna Mallet living in the United States at this time. I know by the testimony of their
Wills that they trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour. I, too, have trusted Him as my Saviour and my prayer for you is that if you have not yet accepted Christ as your Saviour that you would. I personally believe that you finding this web site was not by chance, luck or accident but by the Divine will of God.
As you view these genealogy files remember that this is a corrupt blood line but there has been made available through Jesus Christ and His finished work the opportunity to be a part of an incorruptible blood line.
