M.D.C. Police Academy Photos:
> The Metropolitan Police Academy was located at the Middlesex Fells District District building from 1962 until the later 1980's when the Academy was held at the Massachusetts Criminal Justice Training Council facility at Needham, MA. Metropolitan Police recruits as well as local police officers would be trained by the Metropolitan Police Academy staff. Additionally, when the Academy left the Fells, the pistol range at the Stone Zoo was closed and the Metro Police utilized a new pistol range near the Sudbury Reservoir.
