Denis St. Amond, Gary Eagan and Bill Wahl
Mark Reinhart, Chris Marx, Jeff Smith (yes, two of them) and John Miller (AKA Goat Boy)
Gary Eagan, Fariborz Rostami, Bob Pave (AKA Pavelaw), Dan Jenkins, Dennis St. Amond, Lynn
and Mike Wolf and Pete Rado with his back to camera.
Colin Mackintosh, Jeff and Wendy Smith, ??,
Greg (whothehelldoyouthinkyouretakingapictureof) Pinchot, and ??.
Willie and Ursula are remaining very tight-lipped but Fariborz is quite determined to find out
who removed his black leather wrist restraints and matching studded collar from his pannier
without breaking the lock.
Fariborz steps up his campaign of intimidation using a powerful technique called "mental judo"
and Ursula is almost cracking under the pressure.
This local man has tipped back a few beers and asked Steve (AKA Bimota Guy) if he
had just arrived from Mars. When Steve assured him he had not he asked why did he
have his landing lights turned on then? This left Steve speechless.
Wow, that's really cool! The most goats I've done at one time was only three!
Hobatz, Goat Boy and Captain Kirk (AKA Chris Kirk).
Have you ever seen three guys more trust-worthy? You don't have to answer that question.
Let's go! No, let's hurry up and wait....
The confluence of the North Yuba and
Downie Rivers. That's the Riverside Inn on the bank of the Downie River.
Mike and Nancy Carnahan were excellent hosts and the rooms were very clean and fresh. If you
are ever in Downieville this is the place to stay.
The accomodations at the competing Downieville River Inn were not so deluxe.
Bimota Guy says "this is the place to be!"
Hobatz is trying to give away an acrylic dildo with a minature MV Agusta F4 molded inside.
Now that's a racy gift!
Richard (last name?), Colin Mackintosh (behind), Chris (last name?),
Steve O'Leary (behind), Hobatz, ??(on stairs), Richard's wife (name?)
Greg offers an unidentifiable bystander a tolk from his handmade pipe while
Goat Boy greedily eyes the goods. Jeff Smith nurses his beer, Chris Kirk
sports a go-fast hat, Bimota Guy is wondering exactly how many peanuts are in that little bag,
and the Weathergod and Ursula are being unusually well-behaved.
Turbo Mark has agreed to demonstrate his very realistic sounding
moose call while Mark Reinhart, Wendy Smith and Colin Mackintosh listen in.
Mark Reinhart has eaten a few too many beans for dinner and is hoping the breeze is going the other
direction.
Jeff and Wendy are being polite and are trying hard not to crack up laughing by concentrating
on something that's not funny, their deep love for one another.

Fariborz and Mark Reinhart.
(WARNING, not for the faint of heart!)
The yellow and red ones look very nice together.
Goat Boy still has his shirt on in this picture because he hasn't seen any midgets
to try to impress yet.
The Downieville area has loads of natural beauty to offer. Still, I think the presence of
our beautiful Ducatis added
some colorful visual interest to the area. I believe we had every color of ST ever produced represented,
yellow, red, black, silver, Olganic Grey, BBG and blue. Am I forgetting any? This is the first
Madness where my BBG ST4s didn't have any company or a real bat cave.
As you know bats are very social
creatures and one bat does not make a bat cave. I would appreciate more participation
from other BBG owners at the next Madness.
Peter and David Youngblood from Virginia prepare to depart from the third annual Madness.
See the Madd ones up close!
