MINNESOTA HOMEBRED CHAMPIONSHIP CONTEST

This contest pits residents against each other to see who can breed the best homebreds for the season. Each resident can nominate one 2 year old and one 3 year old homebred for the contest. The horses must be unraced at time of entry. Residents run their horses and score points according to how they finish and the class of races they run in.

Scoring is as follows:

MSW, CLAIMING, STARTER ALLOWANCE=1 POINT FOR TOP 3 FINISH
RESTRICTED ALLOWANCE=2 POINTS FOR TOP 3 FINISH
OPEN ALLOWANCE=3 POINTS FOR TOP 3 FINISH
OVERNITE AND RESTRICTED STAKES=5 POINTS
GRADED STAKES=7 POINTS
+1 POINT BONUS IF HORSE WINS RACE

Residents are allowed to change their nominated homebreds twice in each category and all previously accrued points remain in your score.

Players are asked to post each week when there horses are running in the contest thread on the message board.

At the end of the calender year the following are the credit prizes for this contest:

1ST PLACE=1000 CREDITS
2ND PLACE=500 CREDITS.
