1990 Pontiac Firebird Formula - The Formula's fate has been put on hold, I was going to take it apart over this last winter and completly redo the whole car, but that was put on hold when my purchase of a new home fell through due to poor service on the part of the realtor I chose, but oh well life goes on.

I am planning on painting it yellow lower body, and either Black or Gunmetal Grey upper body. I was also going to build a Chevy 355 Small Block for it. I am going to finally be installing the new rear axle with a Eaton posi unit and 3:73 gear set I have had sitting in my garage the last 2 years. And plan on autocrossing the car heavily this summer (2006).

When I do finally get space and time to tear the car apart, I will be replacing the factory splitting and cracking heavy foam rear spoiler with a light and durable fiberglass piece, as well as a fiberglass decklid. I also am going to be replacing the hood with a fiberglass (97 T/A LT1 Style) Ram Air hood. I also am going to be installing a 4 point roll bar, and a custom dash with Autometer gauges replacing the factory gauges, as well as adding a fuel pressure and oil temperature gauges. (In addition to the air/fuel ratio, vacum and trans temp gauges I have already installed in the A-pillar).

Here is a quick photoshop of how I am planning to do the 2 tone. Details may change of course, but at least it gives me an idea.

Future Cars I Would Like to Acquire - When I graduate college, I would like to find a 91-92 Firebird or Trans Am convertible. I also have been searching for a 2.5L 4 Cylinder Engine with 4 or 5 Speed manual Transmission, 82-84 Firebird, Which I would leave 100% original (Maybe), as I just have always wanted one.
