USHA Pro Stop #6
Plans Underway
As winter sets in, plans for the
United States Handball Association pro stop #6 on April 25-27, 2003 at the
University of Minnesota Rec Sports Center are in full swing. Adding to the excitement,
Minnesota’s own Pete Crouser
recently broke into the top twelve professional handball players in the
country.
In conjunction with the pro stop will be a multi-division
singles tournament open to any USHA or MSHA player (must be a resident of MN to
be in the MSHA.) The top
MSHA finishers will be recognized and recorded as 2003 finalists. Placement will be determined in
accordance with the traditional top-ten process.
This prestigious event will be
co-hosted with the U of M and the USHA
How can you help? The
sanctioning fee is $5,000 - backed by the MSHA but hopefully covered by contributions
from you! Contact the MSHA or Matt
Hiber if you would like to help sponsor this event.
Entry fees for the Minnesota Spring Handball Classic Singles tournament will be raised slightly to defer the costs, but there will be no additional fees to watch the Pros. Remember, the tournament is open to all USHA players regardless of their state of residence.
