Hiber Being Frank
A note from MSHA President
Matt Hiber
I would like to welcome everyone to another season of competitive and invigorating handball. Every spring is an exciting time for us as our annual MSHA state tournaments approach quickly. Enclosed in this newsletter are entry forms for the two state tournaments as well as an entry for the Winter Carnival Doubles tournament. Because we are hosting the Nationals this year, the MSHA board elected to hold just two tournaments – one singles and one doubles tournament. Find your best division and give it a shot!
The
MSHA is hosting the premier handball event - the granddaddy of them all - the
USHA nationals. This is an outstanding opportunity to test your skills against
other players from throughout the land.
I am also taking a moment to recognize Jim Carlson, Ron Causton, and Ted Bergstrom for playing such a large role in teaching the handball classes and mentoring the students at the University of Minnesota. For their time and commitment, I am very grateful. Thank you very much.
Good Luck to all players this spring.
