USHA 2007 Nationals

Coming to Minneapolis

I want to thank all of the handballers who have contributed to the fund raising project to make the USHA Nationals at the University of Minnesota Rec Center April 30 - May 6 the best one ever.  Many of our local handball leaders have made significant contributions to allow us to showcase our MSHA hospitality.  We still welcome any donations which will enable us to do an even better job.

To make an event of this magnitude a first class experience for everyone we need YOU to volunteer to help.

Making coffee . . . being a goodwill ambassador . . . helping with the lunch line . . . mixing Gatorade . . . policing the area . . . recommending your favorite restaurant.  Generally promoting handball Minnesota-style - these are things that a volunteer will be called upon to do during the tournament.  It's an excellent opportunity to meet handball players and enthusiasts from all over the US and foreign countries.

Volunteering is a great way to showcase the U of M, the Twin Cities, and Minnesota handball.  You will even wear a snazzy T-shirt identifying you as one of the elite.

If you are willing to spare a few hours - or  more - please call Bill DeVahl at 651-735-7848 or email him at billdevahl@msn.com.  Many hands make less work.  Please sign up at one of our tournaments, or contact Bill.

Have a great tournament year. Don't forget to sign up to play in the Nationals.  We would like to see at least 100 players from Minnesota in the tournament.

Roll them out and hook them up.
