DAC Takes Monday
MAC Takes Tuesday
The Minneapolis Athletic Club eeked out the Decathlon AC for first place in the Tuesday Night league. But the DAC's Monday night crew did the same to the Skyway River Rats.
The 1997-98 version of the Twin Cities Handball League is a case of the "haves" and the "have-nots" with the top teams all neck-and-neck with a few struggling teams way in the cellar. The Tuesday night MAC team has over four times the points of the last place Minneapolis Metro YMCA. The second to last place SAAC Squad is only a few points above the Y. Monday night's Kings Court cellar dwellers have less than half the points of the top teams. This is not the NFL with its vaunted parity. But everyone is having fun and that is what the league is all about!
