Officer Elections

t the June 2002 Board of Directors meeting, Matt Hiber was elected President, John Miller vice president, Larry Larson treasurer and Sheldon Silberman secretary. Greg Taylor was re-appointed to chair the Hall of Fame committee.Finances
With investment income down due to poor market conditions, tournament expenses up, attendance holding even and lowered sponsorship, we sufferred a minor net lost for the second year. We will consider raising the tournament entry fee $5 at the fall board meeting.
2003 Events
Dates and formats were selected for the 2003 State Tournaments. We will once again hold two doubles tournaments - Open (Feb 28-Mar 1) and Masters (March 28-29), and one combined Singles tournament. The doubles divisions will be limited to maintain a two-day format. The Singles tournament will be held in conjunction with the USHA Pro Stop at the U of M April 25-27. The annual Hall-of-Fame and Awards banquet will be held at the Wabasha Street Caves May 9, 2003.
