inducted into the

MSHA Handball Hall of Fame

"The big left hander" Al Abrahamson, was inducted into the Minnesota Handball Hall of Fame as a contributor May 10, at the annual MSHA Awards Banquet at the Wabasha Street Caves. Emceed by outgoing MSHA President Brett Broxey, the night included some lighthearted moments and sincere thanks to Al for his wonderful human skills both on and off the court. His contributions to the MSHA of time, energy, enthusiasm, product, and money, as well as his cows, will be fondly remembered by all MSHA members.

Fourteen of the Minnesota Handball Hall of Fame members were present for the induction ceremony and gathered for a group photo.

Each of the 2002 State finalists were recognized. Anna Christoff and Gary Rohrer were congratulated for their top finishes at the World and National levels.

Prom Catering provided a great meal and Steve Bremer hosted the event at his historic Caves. No one left hungry or thirsty.

Gary Rohrer, Steve Subak and Dick Edwards were thanked and presented with their sponsor shirts.

And the 2002 Top Ten handball players were honored and awarded their top-ten shirts.

Every table received a goody bag ranging from handballs and T-shirts to Hudson map books to distribute among all the guests.
